The “women of Troy” placed their 5 scorers in the top 16 positions (including 3 in the top 7) as they won the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference title over 3 other state-ranked squads.
The top runner for Center Grove was Shelbi Burnett (3rd place), which led the charge in upsetting #2 Carmel by 11 points (45 to 56).
