The Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches has released its seventh poll of the 2008 girls cross country season, and Westfield is tearing up the charts as we head into October.
The Shamrocks jump all the way from ninth to second this week, trailing only holdover No. 1 Carmel. Meanwhile, Noblesville (seventh to fourth) and Indianapolis Cathedral (20th to 15th) are the other schools to make significant moves upward in the Top 15.
Finally, a pair of South Bend schools – Riley and St. Joseph’s – jump into the fray this week at Nos. 18 and 20, respectively.
