It’s time for the fourth set of rankings for the 2008 boys track & field season from our Davyd Cash, and Pike is this week’s big story after the Red Devils juked past Warren Central and Lawrence North and into the second spot behind Ben Davis.
That’s what a dominant Conference Indiana meet performance (winning seven of 16 events) will do for ya, I reckon.
Elsewhere, Noblesville swaps spots with Carmel in moving up to sixth from ninth in anticipation of Friday’s Hamilton County meet involving both schools. And two Conference Indiana teams also rise significantly this week as Lawrence Central and Columbus North bump up to 13th and 15th from 20th and 24th, respectively.
