BG RANKINGS: Avon, Cathedral, Marian 1-2-3 in final poll

The Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association has released its 10th and final poll for the 2008 boys golf season, and Avon is the undisputed No. 1 team heading into sectional play May 30.

The Orioles once again garnered all eight first-place votes to stay ahead of No. 2 Indianapolis Cathedral and Mishawaka Marian. Bloomington South and Wawasee round out the first five, while this week’s big leaper is Terre Haute South (20th to ninth).
