The Waterboy is a young and enthusiastic fan of both high-quality H2O and Indiana high school football who has been kind enough to share his insights with us for the upcoming 2008 season. Sound off on his thoughts and predictions via the link at the bottom of this story!
Can coach Bud Wright and Sheridan make it four in a row and become the first team in Indiana to reach 10 state championships? This writer thinks so, but the Blackhawks are by no means a lock as Class A will be loaded with teams looking to knock off the perennial champion.
Sheridan, of course, returns quarterback/defensive back and recent Indiana University commit senior-to-be Nick Zachery, while Rockville returns a great QB of their own in senior Matt King. Indianapolis Ritter will once again be a factor in the championship chase with a great offense that includes wide receiver Tyrone Walker. Perry Central will be a threat, and Lafayette Central Catholic would have been ranked higher had the Knights been a little more successful in the postseason the past few years.
