The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association has released its second boys soccer poll of the 2008 season, and defending state champ Evansville Memorial is your new No. 1. The Tigers assume the position that was held by now-No. 4 North Central (Indianapolis), with Carmel and Columbus North tucked in behind in second and third, respectively.
North Central is followed by Westfield to round out the first five. Among the big movers this week are Fort Wayne Canterbury (up from 12th to eighth), Avon (13th to 10th), and Bloomington North (20th to 16th). Noblesville and Penn, meanwhile, make their poll debuts in a 20th-place tie.
Teams are listed by current ranking followed by school name and record through Week 1. The ISCA poll from Aug. 25:
