The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association
has released its third set of all-classes combined rankings for the 2008-09
girls basketball season, and a pair of teams in the same sectionals are on the
rise.
Terre Haute South, which already has reeled
off a half-dozen wins to start the season, moves up three spots from ninth to sixth.
Also bumping up a trio of slots is Mooresville, which stands 3-0.
Meanwhile, Vincennes Lincoln and Fort Wayne
Elmhurst elevate four positions further down the rankings as the Alices go from
17th to 13th and the Trojans are up to 14th
from 18th. Evansville Memorial (19th) and Oregon-Davis (20th)
are new to this week’s rankings.

Ben Davis and Heritage Christian – stay the same, while South Bend Washington and
Carmel have once again swapped out the third and fourth spots. Hamilton
Southeastern again rounds out the first five.
