BSw RANKINGS: Little holiday movement in fifth poll

The Indiana High School Swim Coaches’ Association has released its fifth round of team rankings for the 2008-09 boys swimming season, and there’s not a whole lotta stuff going on this week between Christmas and New Year’s.

The top four schools from last week’s poll – North Central (Indianapolis), Chesterton, Munster, and Homestead – remain unchanged in the rankings that are based on a theoretical scoring system. The system from a 16-place meet uses the times/scores of the returning Top 20 individuals from sectionals and state finals as well as the best regular-season times of the 2007-08 season.

Elsewhere, Castle and Northridge change slots as the Knights go from sixth to fifth and the Raiders drop from fifth to sixth. Finally Oak Hill is new to the rankings this week at No. 35.
