The Associated Press has released its 15th and final set of polls for the 2008-09 boys basketball season, and your class leaders as we move into the postseason are 4A Bloomington South, 3A Princeton, 2A Tipton, and 1A Jac-Cen-Del, which takes over the small-school poll lead after Bowman Academy lost its next-to-last regular-season game at 4A South Bend Adams.
The final rankings find an influx of teams at the bottom of the 4A and 3A polls, meaning lots more schools will enter sectionals with a target on ‘em. The final week’s two biggest movers, meanwhile, are both 4A schools: Indianapolis Cathedral (10th to seventh) and Munster (11th to eighth).
