The Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches has released its third poll for the 2009 girls track & field season, and Warren Central is back on top as we turn toward late April.
The Warriors swap spots with North Central (Indianapolis) for the second straight time, rising from second into the top slot. Carmel remains at No. 3, with formerly No. 8 Hamilton Southeastern continuing its meteoric rise into fourth and previous No. 9 Lawrence North now fifth.
Meanwhile, Ben Davis jumps all the way from 20th to seventh, while Carroll (Fort Wayne) bumps up two spots from 10th to eighth. Columbus North is this week’s new school, coming in at 17th.
