Matt Terrell of Ben Davis and Hannah Farley of Park Tudor were named Mr. and Ms. Track June 13 by the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (IATCCC). The award is sponsored by Indianapolis attorneys Lee, Cossell, Kuehn & Love, LLP.
Terrell won the 100- and 200-meter runs June 5 at the IHSAA boys state finals and will attend the Ohio State University. Farley, a three-time winner in the 400, will attend Stanford.
There were also other awards given (to be eligible, athletes must be seniors and be participants in the annual Midwest Meet of Champions):
• Distance Runners of the Year: Joe Holahan, Bloomington South; Kristal Studer, East Central
• Field Athletes of the Year: Derrick Spight, Warren Central; Paige Smith, Hamilton Southeastern
Sprint/Hurdler of the Year: Logan Griffth, South Bend Adams; Ebony Wright, Warren Central
