For the Academic All-State teams, coaches nominated seniors under the following criteria:
• Must play at least 50 percent of team’s varsity matches
• Must have a score of at least 1100 on the 1600 SAT, 1650 on the 2400 SAT, or 24 on the ACT
• Must have at least a 3.6 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
From the pool on nominees, the Top 50 girls are chosen for Academic All-State. The GPA counts for 40 percent of the final score while the SAT/ACT score counts for 60 percent of the ratio.
