The third set of boys cross country rankings for the 2009 season have been released by the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches, and a pair of Hoosier Crossroads Conference schools is making headway.

Those two teams are Noblesville, which moves from 11th to sixth, and Zionsville, which goes from 10th to seventh. North Central (Indianapolis) and Huntington North stay the same at Nos. 1-2, with Terre Haute North up one spot and swapping spots with Carmel from fourth to third and Columbus North inching up one place from sixth to fifth.

There are five new schools this week: Bloomington South (13th), Lawrence North (16th), Fort Wayne Snider (21st), South Bend St. Joseph’s (23rd), and Ben Davis (25th). That group replaces departed Brownsburg, Fort Wayne Snider, Indianapolis Cathedral, Warsaw, and Homestead.
