The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association has released its seventh round of rankings for the 2009 boys soccer season, and the news this week is the rise of Lake Central and Avon into the first five.
Lake Central moves from sixth to third, while Avon jumps from eighth to fifth. Elsewhere, Washington bumps up from 10th to ninth, Valparaiso goes from 12th to 10th, and Indianapolis Cathedral enters the Top 20 at No. 17 in replacing the departed Center Grove.
