The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association has released its fourth set of polls for the 2009-10 girls basketball season, and we have new leaders at the top of Class 3A and 2A in Rushville and Fort Wayne Luers.
The Lions take over the top 3A spot from now-third Fort Wayne Elmhurst, while Luers ascends to No. 1 at the expense of now-No. 2 Austin. Ben Davis (4A) and Vincennes Rivet (1A), meanwhile, remain atop their classes.
Elsewhere, Fishers is the big jumper in 4A as the Tigers move from 18th to ninth. In 3A, Gibson Southern rises from ninth to fourth. In 2A, Brownstown moves into the Top 10 at No 10, up from 13th. And in 1A, Monroe Central jumps into the Top 10 at No. 10, up from 17th.
