The Indiana High School Swim Coaches’ Association has released its sixth poll for the 2009-10 girls swimming season, and a pair of teams is on the move.
Coming off a third-place showing at the Hamilton Southeastern Splash-n-Clash (click here for story), Munster moves from outside the Top 20 all the way to seventh. Meanwhile, Lawrence North goes from 13th to 10th.
The first six schools remain unchanged as Carmel, Hamilton Southeastern, Center Grove, Chesterton, Noblesville, and Homestead do not budge.
Rankings are based on a theoretical scoring system from a 16-place meet using the times/scores of the returning Top 18 individuals from sectionals and state finals as well as the best regular-season times of the 2009-10 season, plus updated relay times.
Teams are listed by ranking followed by school and vote total. The IHSSCA’s Top 20 from Dec. 21:

1. Carmel 327
