The Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its eighth and final set of polls for the 2010 regular season, and your four leaders entering postseason play are Class 4A Indianapolis Cathedral, 3A New Palestine, 2A Forest Park, and 1A Frontier.
Here’s one final look at what’s going on prior to 2010 sectional play:
In 4A: Kokomo moves from sixth to fourth, Lawrence Central rockets from 14th to sixth, Anderson Highland inches up from eighth to seventh, Westfield leaps from being unranked to ninth, and DeKalb dances up three spots from 13th to 10th.
In 3A: Jasper blazes up from 10th to second, Andrean does the same in climbing from 15th to sixth, Heritage Hills bumps up from 11th to eighth, and Bellmont jumps from 15th to 10th.
In 2A: Northfield noses up from fourth to third, Evansville Mater Dei moves from eighth into a tie for sixth with Fairfield, Delphi inches up from ninth to eighth, Elwood ascends from 11th to ninth, and Hammond Noll rises from 13th to 10th.
In 1A: Shakamak swaps spots with Edinburgh in going from eighth to seventh, and Tecumseh climbs from the unranked to 10th.
